Jens founded Plotfish after a short but vibrant career in the TV and entertainment industry, where he worked as a reporter, editor, and even a screenwriter. His mission? To bring the techniques used in entertainment to the advertising world, making ads exciting and impossible to ignore again. In a world where commercials are skipped, fast-forwarded, or scrolled past, branded entertainment and storytelling are not just trendy—they’re essential.
As a storyteller, Jens has more than earned his stripes at a young age. Over the span of four years, he contributed to half of Flemish prime-time TV programming, and at just 24 years old, he wrote a feature film for a well-known Flemish TV series. That film played in cinemas across Flanders. Jens has also crafted over 100 hours of prime-time TV fiction, captivating half a million viewers with every episode.
Today, Jens applies those same storytelling skills to brands and businesses. Together with his team, he develops cutting-edge storytelling marketing and branded entertainment projects. For example, they created a podcast telenovela with VRT for a Belgian perfume brand and produced a musical for the 30th anniversary of the Alzheimer League, set to tour across Flanders in late 2025. For the first time ever, this professional musical theatre performance will also be staged in the UK.
