Johan started his career in 1985 within a large printing company, first as an order manager, then at the age of 21 as an internal sales representative. Within two years he was head of internal sales and 4 years later head of sales.
Afterwards he was commercial director of a printing company for many years. Johan’s first introduction to recommending was in 2011, where he became the winner of the “Golden Shoehorn”
In this year he left top sellers from the high segment behind him by giving a relationship a recommendation that later turned out to be good for thanking him for the turnover of almost 2 million.
He was also introduced to BNI in 2011 when an old classmate asked him about BNI. Johan immediately decided to become a member in October 2011, was DC within 2 years, won the Award for the best DC in the Netherlands and Flanders in England in 2015, and was the ADC of Rotterdam, Zeeland and West Brabant from 2017 to 2023. Since September 2023, Johan has been working as managing director at BNI Netherlands and Flanders.
Last year I was involved in the online training courses within BNI, with the intention to help all members within BNI make optimal use of their membership.
Johan is 59 years old, married to Gerda for 39 years, lives in Barendrecht, they have 3 sins and 3 daughters, and now also have 6 grandsons and 5 granddaughters.
