Russ has been involved with BNI since 2004, firstly as a member with his floristry business and for the past 14 years as one of the ED’s of the BNI Durham and Teesside region in the UK. In 2021, Gill and Russ also became ED’s for the North Yorkshire region.
Russ is a proud member of the UK and Ireland National Training Team and has trained hundreds of Directors to launch and grow chapters. Russ has served for 4 years on the Franchise Advisory Council and Globally, Russ and his fellow ED (Gill Sawdon) have been part of many Global trials and working parties including the working group on the design of BNI University (Business Buider). Russ served as the first President of the Founders Circle for three years where he represented over 850 Executive Directors from around the world as their contact with the Global Support Team. The work that Russ does globally has been recognized by Ivan Misner and Graham Weihmiller with awards for “Outstanding Contribution to the organization and Leadership” at Global Conventions.
Russ is an established Keynote Speaker and has spoken at conferences around the world. He is well known for his fun, friendly and inclusive style. Russ wants to make a difference and more importantly he wants to support you in doing the same.
