It’s not so easy to briefly introduce Wim. After all, he has navigated many waters. He began his professional career as a factory worker and soon realized that there was more to him than just working shifts. He seized every opportunity that could positively boost his career, grabbing them with both hands. He switched to sales, studied law at night school, and advanced to become the director of a leading company.
Then the call of the bar beckoned. Wim started at the bottom again as a trainee lawyer, but now runs a law firm in the inner city of Antwerp with his wife Lieselot. This firm is part of a European collaboration with offices in Hamburg, Stuttgart, and Dublin. A collaboration he developed with other lawyers who are members of BNI, because Wim never does a city trip without dropping by a local BNI, even as far as Bengaluru, India. It’s often said that Wim doesn’t have blood, but BNI running through his veins. He has been a member for 11 years and was instrumental in founding Chapter Antwerp Haven, and for several years now he’s been the DC of B-Oost, which last year won the trophy for the best chapter in Flanders.
But above all, Wim is the proud father of two sons. And that’s where his passion lies. He most enjoys teaching his sons how to be successful in life. And he summarizes this in his golden triangle of success.
